From classic to contemporary styles, Tom Howley (part of the Neville Johnson Group) design and manufacture luxury handcrafted kitchens, using only the finest materials. The highly thought-of luxury brand already had an online presence as well as 8 physical showrooms, but we’ve completely transformed the old site so users can browse the lavish range from the comfort of their home, no matter if they are visiting from desktop, tablet or mobile. Our brief was to build a highly-responsive beautiful website with the aim to engage users and entice them to visit a local showroom or to request a brochure through the online enquiry form.
Our Front-end developers worked closely with Tom Howley’s internal creative team to ensure that the site makes the most of the space available by decluttering the overall look of the site, and adding more engaging content throughout; from upcoming showroom events, to luscious recipes. The product listing page uses a simple grid layout which makes it simple to navigate but also allows the page to smoothly scale for smaller screens, whilst also beautifully displaying the full range of Tom Howley kitchens.
The use of white space gives the page a clean look and creates an excellent showcase for the different products, gently guiding the user through the site with clear signposting. By utilising the power and simplicity of the latest version of Umbraco, we feel Tom Howley is now setup for success and this will be seen in improved conversion of site visitors into customers.
