Luxury home furnishing creators Neville Johnson approached KMP Digitata with the intention to move their unique interior business into a virtual space.
Each furniture design is a one-off so the site features a multitude of material and sizing options, each page optimised to offer the best possible user experience (UX) to visitors.
Neville Johnson’s site includes a number of bespoke functions – a carousel to display all services in a clever and compact way on their homepage, making good use of the space available whilst supporting the requirement to drive enquiries to all services within their business.
We’ve delivered a load-balanced, comprehensive CMS solution utilising the extremely capable Umbraco platform and developed a new online identity for the Neville Johnson brand. The responsive website reflects our user centered design methodology because it puts users at the heart of the design process. This was woven into all of our key processes, from research and planning, to design and development.
We performed full UX analysis on all designs and because SEO was a key aspect of the project, all the latest methods and techniques were applied in order to create the most optimised presence possible.
The site navigation had to allow the product range to shine, whilst still guiding the user through the searching and buying process.
For the first time in the company’s history, Neville Johnson have a distinctive new national TV commercial which highlights the longevity and quality of the furniture, using the line, ‘bespoke furniture, handcrafted for life’.
