I’ve just finished my two-week work experience placement here at KMP Digitata and it’s definitely been a very enjoyable opportunity. I’ve learnt loads, and I can’t believe the placement is already over!

Over the course of two weeks, I’ve had the chance to learn new skills with each member of the development team and the client services team to find out about their role.

For instance Milan one of the front-end developers showed me how to code the front-end of a webpage using html and css, which is being used for my CV.

I also got the chance to attending the fortnightly marketing and communications meeting which was another opportunity for me to hear how different projects and events are going from the team.

Why did I choose to apply for a placement at KMP you ask? I have been interested in IT and web design for a long time is what I wish to do as a job when I leave education. However, I was not sure which part of web design I should focus on. I knew that KMP could show me the different sides to digital marketing agency, including the design, coding and content management.

Overall my work experience at KMP was really good. I’m really happy I got the privilege to work with the team and I would highly recommend anyone to do their work experience with them. It is an experience that I’ll never forget and I would like to thank the KMP team for giving me that experience. If you get the chance you should get some work experience. You’ll definitely learn loads (and have fun too)!
