The latest stats and figures from StatCounter and ComScore show that mobile web browsing is one of the quickest growing digital trends with approximately 26% of the western population, over the age of 13, now owning a smartphone. The number of people who own a smartphone increases each month by an average of 3%.

The iphone will make 2008 the year of the mobile

After three years of being told … “This will be the year of the mobile” … I finally believe it.
Since January, we have experienced a new interest in mobile applications, stimulated I believe by the amazing demand for the new Apple iphone.
