KMP are partnering with How-Do to host a unique Social Media for Beginners Workshop which will take place on Thursday 29th January, starting from 9am at the MDDA in Manchester.  

The half-day workshop will be hosted by KMP's blog expert, Paul Fabretti as well as KMP's Content Strategist, Dave Kinsella.

Overview

Over the last year there has been a rapid growth in the evolution and use of social media, including social networks like Facebook and MySpace, photo and video sharing sites like Flickr and YouTube, as well as other tools like blogging and bookmarking.  This development has enabled brands to create much broader and multi-dimensional Marketing campaigns that reach out to a wider audience, and are therefore more effective.

About the Workshop

In this hands-on workshop, we will be exploring the world of social media and showing you how easy it is to get started with the different social media tools that are available, including social networks, photo-sharing sites, video and blogs. 
As well as this, we'll be getting up close and personal with the likes of facebook, twitter, delicious, bookmarking and blogging, and talking about how these tools can be integrated into your Marketing Strategy.
 

This isn't just a sit and listen seminar though!

Paul and Dave will be showing you how to set up accounts for twitter, facebook and delicious, as well as giving you practical activities to carry out.
