Launched back in March 2010, Pinterest is a social bookmarking site that allows users to create an online pin board of all the things they like, that can then be organised and shared. In the run up to Christmas a number of large apparel brands saw Pinterest appear in their 5 five social referrers in their analytics.

Improvements made to Facebook Insights
Facebook has been rolling out a number of updates recently that impacts both users and brands. Facebook updates – What do they mean for businesses
We’ve been subjected to waves of Facebook updates over the past couple of weeks but they have been more user focused, such as the fixed top nav, the chat box, the activity ticker and most importantly Timeline. Facebook launches “Lists” in reply to Google+’s Circles
If imitation is the best form of flattery then Google+ must be feeling pretty happy about Facebook’s latest update, Lists, yet somehow I doubt Google will be less than delighted to see this new functionality. Quick on the heals of last week’s top nav and “Like” updates Facebook have now release their Lists feature that allows users to chose which of their friends are able to see certain updates/posts and also filter their news feed by the same Lists, which is almost a carbon copy of Google+’s Circles.
