I was shown a video from MIT’s Center for Future Civic Media showing off an interesting project they have been working on. The Junkyard Jumbotron allows people to create one large image from multiple screens from laptops, computers, phones, anything that has access to a web browser.

EU Laws are about to make Social Reccomendations even more powerful
The Internet survives on Cookies. No we are talking about the tasty treats instead we are referring to the small text files that are downloaded by your web browser to allow the likes of Google Analytics track your activity and help improve the user’s experience. In Europe this is about to change with new EU laws demanding that companies are more transparent about what these Cookies do and what they are tracking.
Our Junior Interactive Designer wins the Cbeebies Student Commission
In 2010 the BBC approached Universities in the North West with the hope of uncovering new and exciting talent in our part of the country. The Ceebies Student Commission invited students to pitch ideas for short films, the winning of which would feature on the Cbeebies website.
The world is obsessed with Facebook
Last month, Mashable presented a very neat infographic demonstrating that, especially in the USA, Facebook is becoming the kind of internet portal that AOL and Compuserve dreamed of being in the 90s.
It was a bit tl;dr though so some bright spark made it into a snazzy video.
KMP Digitata & TrekAmerica use Facebook to send Trekkers on the Ultimate Road Trip
KMP Digitata and Tui Travel plc has been embracing social media with the TrekAmerica brand and the new community website we built for them, TrekAmerica Live. Last year KMP Digitata were assigned the task of developing a social media campaign that would embody the TrekAmerica brand ethos and increase the number of entries to the annual “8 Mates Across The States” competition.
