Littlewoods Direct
KMP has been commissioned by Littlewoods Direct to deliver a social media marketing strategy.
The Brief
Littlewoods Direct wanted to take advantage of the current web 2.0 phenomenon, and create an online strategy which would complement their current advertising campaign. This online strategy provides an opportunity to enter a new marketplace as well as targeting a much bigger audience. KMP decided to create a Facebook application and a blog for the trendy Love Label brand, to provide Littlewoods Direct with a whole new way of targeting an audience, whilst also strengthening the perception of their brand online.
Facebook Application
KMP designed and built "Style Guru", an innovative Facebook Application for Littlewoods Direct. The application allows users to rate items of clothing, send them to their friends and then buy the item online - all from Facebook.
Users earn points each time they rate items, post the items to their profiles and send them to their friends – all in a bid to become a Style Guru! The more they use the application and send items, the sooner they achieve Style Guru status. Once they become Style Guru's they are automatically entered into a £500 “online trolley dash” Prize Draw.
Blog
KMP has just launched a unique and stylish blog for the trendy Love Label brand. The blog features the team behind Love Label, including fashion buyers and designers, talking about everything from the latest trends, styles featured at Glastonbury, sneak previews of new ranges, and behind the scenes of fashion shoots. Each of the 6 personalities (Ashley, Carla, Karen, Liz, Ruth and Jodie) at Love Label contributes independently to create the ultimate fashion bible.
