It’s Friday afternoon again, where thoughts normally turn to the weekend, of football, family and friends, yet over at KMP Digitata Towers there appears to be a strange, dare I say unnatural, anticipation of Monday morning? What possible event could be waiting beyond that would (almost) cause us to wish the weekend away? Well, Captain Parks, the face of Jet Parks, is about to make his bow on the small screen and like parent at a school play we await with a sense of anticipation.

You may remember back in June that we launched www.Jetparks.co.uk for Manchester Airport, a website that gave Manchester Airport a strong and trusted presence in the off-site budget airport parking sector. The project was delivered in just 3 weeks to ensure the maximum impact of the site over the summer holiday period, including design, build and a very clever car park booking system. The success of the website has led to the production of a 20 second advert, produced by WRG, that sees our hero bouncing off the clouds and offering Manchester Airport parking from £2.99.

The 20 second advert has also given us the opportunity to push the Jet Parks brand in the social media space with the creation of Captain Parks very own YouTube channel, which we have then embedded on the Jet Parks website Home page to increase customer engagement as well as creating an individual page on the site to give and extra Search Engine Optimisation boost.
So we await for Monday morning, 9.40 during Wogan’s Perfect Recall, analytics tools at the ready to chart and document the impact. However, the biggie comes at 7.15 that evening, so for those just getting in from work and sitting down to Emmerdale, just take a moment during the ad break to check out Captain Parks.

Is it sad that I got excited when I saw the Captain Parks ad during the break while watching The Big Bang Theory?
Or is it just sad to admit I like The Big Bang Theory?
