You know that feeling when your work is really buzzing? There’s a genuine sense of excitement at KMP recently, and the whole place seems to be more alive. Not that it was a boring place to be before, but since the turn of the year we seem to have been really flying.
Part of it is the projects we’re working on – as ever at KMP there’s plenty of variety – Chester Zoo, Triton Showers and Mainline Telecommunications are all due to be up and running in the next couple of months.
We’re also growing – we’ve gained half a dozen new colleagues and their contribution is really positive. We’ve even used the temporary extra capacity to get to grips with our own branding and web development – our new website should launch this month. And we’re practising what we’re preaching by getting actively invoved in Web 2.0 – see us on flickr.com: search under tag KMPinteractive.
As a company, we’ve been getting out more to events and exhibitions; learning new things keeps us all refreshed.
Finally, a couple of ideas KMP has championed for a while – Virtual Assistants and Social Media Marketing – seem suddenly to have hit the mainstream, as companies start to realize the importance of 24/7 online service and getting to grips with the challenges and opportunities of a world of User Generated Content.
So I expect that the excitement will continue into 2008, and I’m looking forward to seeing what new things will happen. KMP will be at the forefront of every development – we like it that way!
